Dirt City Writers is a literary collective based in Albuquerque, New Mexico. To borrow from “poet of the West” Ed Dorn, Dirt City writers are “rightly associated” not “because of the way we write, but because we are here.” Diverse in style, genre, and content, we have all been impacted by the unique culture and environment of this southwestern city and seek to contribute to the literary vibrancy of Albuquerque through workshops, readings, and supporting each other’s creative aspirations.
